How to Qualify for State, NIT's, Regionals & Southern World Series

Qualifying for Post Season Play:

Note: It is the teams responsibility to VALIDATE their Berth and ensure the complete and correct information is RECEIVED by their State Director no later than the Tournament Entry Deadline.
Failure for the team to VALIDATE their Berth, Submit the ENTRY FORM, OFFICIAL NSA 
ON-LINE ROSTER, SIGNED with Complete and Correct information,
and the Entry Fee Money Order or Cashier Check form by the deadline listed will result in the team losing the berth and ALL travel monies won.  Deadlines will be strictly enforced. 


Qualifying for "Super" World NIT's:
 All NSA Registered Teams qualify to participate in NATIONAL INVITATIONAL TOURNAMENTS.
          Rosters:  Official NSA ON-LINE Roster, Signed with ALL Information Complete & Correct is    
                         MANDATORY.

Qualifying for State Championship:
 All Teams must be NSA Registered. 
          Rosters:  Official NSA ON-LINE Roster, Signed with ALL information Complete & Correct is                           MANDATORY.
  Mens & Coed Class B,C, D, & E:  Must participate in a NSA Sanctioned Qualifier or an NIT during the current season in order to play in the Oklahoma NSA State Championship.  
  Mens & Coed Class E only:   Must either play in a NSA approved League or a NSA Sanctioned Qualifier event during the current season in order to play in the Oklahoma NSA State Championship.

Qualifying for the Southern World Series:
 All Teams must be NSA Registered.
          Rosters: Official NSA ON-LINE Roster, Signed with ALL information Complete & Correct  is                      Mandatory. 

1. Finish 1st through 4th in a "Dudley Thunder Heat" World Series Qualifier.  

2. Play in 3 or more   World Series Qualifiers. 

3. Compete in a "Super World Series NIT". 

4. Compete in a "Super Regional". 

5. Finish 1st through 3rd in the "State Championship" or top 10% if 40 or more teams. 

6. Declined Berths will be passed down until accepted.

 Note:  Teams MUST play in STATE Tournaments!!  This means a team must physically play in the tournament or lose their berth.  Paying for the tournament and not showing up OR not having enough players will be cause for a team to lose their berth. 
 
Qualifying for a "SUPER" Regional :
All Teams Must be NSA Registered.
               Rosters: Official NSA ON-LINE Roster, Signed with ALL information Complete & correct is Mandatory.  

1. Finish in the TOP 4 of any "Dudley Thunder Heat" World Qualifier or any World Qualifier in any other State.

2. Participate in any "SUPER" World NIT.  

Qualifying for "SUPER" WORLD Series:

1. Finish 1st in a "SUPER" World NIT. ( 2nd Place earns a Berth IF there are 16 or more Teams in the event.)

2. Finish 1st in a STATE Championship.

3. Finish  1st or 2nd in a "SUPER" Regional

4. Finish  1st, 2nd or 3rd in the Southern World Series. (Berths handed down if teams already have a berth)

5. In 2010 - Top Points earner in each Class following their respective State Tournament, will earn a Berth to the SUPER World Series. ( Must Validate by having played in the State Tournament, and MUST play either the Super Regional, or Southern World Series.

There are NO AT LARGE BERTHS.  You Must earn your way to the SUPER World Series !!
